Bands on the Beach Free Concerts on Pensacola Beach

Latitudes Pool Bar at the Hilton Pensacola Beach Hotel and Riptides Gulf Front Tiki Bar at the Holiday Inn Resort host a pre-show ‘happy hour’ between 4pm and 7pm every Tuesday with 50 cent wings, $3 wells, and $3 Rolling Rock draft beer.  Or check out Gilligan’s Tiki Bar at the Hampton Inn Pensacola Beach for $3 wells and $5 frozen drinks.

Bands on the Beach is a free concert that takes place in Pensacola Beach every Tuesday night for 22 consecutive weeks between April and October.

The venue is the Gulfside Pavilion stage in front of the Casino Beach parking lot.

The event showcases a wide variety of regional bands covering most musical genres including southern rock, country, motown, reggae, rhythm & blues, jazz, and hippie jam.

Beach locals are known to rowdy up their routines with action-packed events like air shows and ridiculous festivals devoted to frozen drinks.   So, it’s not surprising that they’ve transformed Tuesday evenings into fun, free musical gatherings.

The fact that this event takes place before ‘hump day’ is of no consequence.  Hundreds of locals come from far and wide armed with portable beach chairs, coolers and koozies to soak up the tunes and dance in the sand.

Coolers  and beach chairs are encouraged.  You can also grab cocktails from The Dock or Crabs We Got Em both of which are just a hop, skip and a jump from the stage.  Local vendors sell snacks like pizza right on site.
